Kitchen Refacing

Examples

When considering cabinet re-facing you have several options. The first option would be to skin your existing cabinets with a wood veneer, and replace the doors and drawer faces. Another option would be to sand and paint them in place and replace the doors and drawer faces. A third option available is to replace the face frame of the cabinet entirely along with doors and drawer faces.  And it is recommended to replace the doors and drawer faces.

You might be wondering why I did not mention sanding existing cabinets doors and drawer faces. The reason for not suggesting this option is because the cost of the labor that goes into stripping and sanding existing doors and drawer faces would be equivalent to starting from scratch.
